FROM JOHNNA’S KITCHEN: ONION DIP

Whether you’re attending a fun party or it’s movie night, onion dip is a tasty snack to serve! Learn how to make this classic dip from Johnna’s Kitchen.

Onion Dip

Ingredients:

2 large sweet onions chopped
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup chicken broth
1 8oz cream cheese
1 cup mayonnaise

Directions:

Cook onions in melted butter stirring constantly until tender and golden brown. Then add broth in and bring to a boil. Next cover and cook for 20 minutes. Stirring often remove from heat and cool completely. Then beat cream cheese on medium speed until creamy and add mayonnaise until smooth. Next stir in onion mixture, cover, and chill.

This snack is best served with crackers, chips, pretzels, or vegetables. You can also add nuts for an extra crunch. Enjoy!
