Ham, Cabbage, and Potatoes Recipe
1lb smoked Pork Butt
2lbs red potatoes peeled
1 head Cabbage cored and quartered
Salt and Pepper
First place smoked pork butt in a 6qt pot with enough water to cover. Then season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for one hour. Next stir in potatoes and cabbage. Simmer until potatoes are tender. This could take about 20 minutes. Remove pork and cut it up. Then return it to the pot and stir it in. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm to your green-attired family and friends!
