FROM JOHNNA’S KITCHEN: CHICKEN NOODLE CASSEROLE

It can be difficult to be creative with dinner. You want to make something the whole family will enjoy. Why not try this chicken noodle casserole dish from Johnna’s Kitchen? It can be your next masterpiece!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Ingredients:

1 lb egg noodles
2 ½ cups cooked chicken cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables
¾ cup heavy cream
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Boil egg noodles as described on package, drain, and set aside. In a large bowl combine soups, heavy cream, and mix together. Next add frozen vegetables, cheddar cheese, and chicken to the egg noodles. Then season with garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour mixture into a 9×13 casserole. In a small bowl, add melted butter, bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese. Mix together and spread on top of casserole. Lastly, bake at 375 for 40 minutes.
